INSTRUCTIONS
Final Task: Research for Journal Article Publication
Writing is the most important means of communicating. Research and publication complement practice and theory. Publication in peer-reviewed journals also gives international recognition to an individual, department, university, or institution. In some cases where a topic of major global importance is included in a publication, the author, country, and even the region may also get greater recognition. Doing research is only half the picture. If the results of research studies or program documentation are not published - and where they are published has an important impact also – other researchers cannot appreciate the value of the evidence generated. (Asnake, 2015).
Students are to:
1. Adapt their dissertation into a concise paper suitable for publication, adhering to The Design School KREATE journal's requirements.
2. The description in KREATE journal is available at the link below
https://thedesignschool.taylors.edu.my/Kreate/index.html
3. Students as the author are to download the KREATE Raw Input template from
https://thedesignschool.taylors.edu.my/Kreate/how-to-submit.html with the specific font to be used, and the authors are not allowed to edit the format set in the template as described in the Manuscript Preparation Guide of the journal.
Manuscript Preparation Guide
1. Manuscripts must be in English and should not exceed fifteen (15) pages including images, illustrations, diagrams, graphs, charts, and tables. Authors must adhere to the word count as indicated in the various sections found in the raw template. A maximum of five (5) keywords should be included.
2. A manuscript submitted to KREATE will be taken to imply that it represents an original unpublished work, not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts submitted will be refereed. The contents of the manuscripts shall be the sole responsibility of the authors and publication does not imply the concurrence of the Editorial Board or the publishers. The Editor does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of manuscripts submitted.
3. Manuscripts’ contents shall be typed in the Raw Input template, downloadable from here.
Authors are not allowed to edit the format set in the template.
4. Captions, placement, and numbering:
Every image, illustration, diagram, graph, chart, and table should be accompanied by a brief caption. For images, illustrations, diagrams, graphs, and charts, they should be referred to as figures and numbered consecutively (Figure 1., Figure 2. and so on). As for tables, they should be referred to as tables and numbered consecutively (Table 1., Table 2. and so on).
If a visual content requires a full page to be displayed, this should be placed in the Appendices section of the paper. Any visual content placed in the Appendices section should each be referred to as appendix and numbered consecutively (Appendix 1., Appendix 2. and so on).
5. All visual contents (images/illustrations/diagrams/graphs/charts/tables) must be of good quality – sharp and not pixelated – with a maximum of 150 dpi in resolution.
6. All references and in-text citations must adhere to the APA style. Refer to the information provided in the Raw Input template.
Below here is my final outcome of the journal article publication.

WEEK 14
Dr. Hayati corrected and gave me suggestions for my final dissertation. I was told to fix the in-text citation since some of it is still incorrect. The structure of my sentence is also a bit messy and confusing to read. I have to be consistent with the use of English because I somehow mixed between American and British English.
REFLECTIONS
The final assignment was easier than I thought, compared to the previous two assignments. It was a relief that I could finally finish this module with this assignment as the final one because if this journal article is as difficult as the dissertation, I think I would have thrown up while finishing it.
