INSTRUCTIONS
Final Project: Creative Experience Design Project Prototype
Once the proposal is approved, students will then work on the prototype of their project. The prototype will enable the students to discover certain limitations that they might have not learnt about before and they’ll have to creatively think about how to overcome the limitation to materialize their proposed ideas. The objective of this task is for the students to test out the key functionality of their project. The output may not necessarily be a finished visually designed project. The students will be gauged on their prototype functionality and their ability to creatively think of alternatives to achieve the desired outcome.
I gave some minor changes to my idea to enhance its performance. First of all, I will explain my app flow in detail below:
1. Users open K-Pop AR App
2. Onboarding page will appear and has one interactable button
3. Users enter the album scanning page
*note: on this page, there will be two buttons that will be interactable (clickable) after the image target is scanned
4.1. Users scan the front side of their album
5.1. Teaser Video will appear
*note: video can be paused and resumed by clicking the same 'Watch Teaser' button
4.2. Users scan the back side of their album
5.2. Artist's logo (animated) will appear
6. Users go to Choose a Song page by clicking 'Choose a Song' button
7. Users to choose which song to play
8. Users enter the song player page
*note: there are 4 buttons (play, pause, next, previous) to control the song
9. Users enjoy listening to the song with a 3D animated object differs for every tracklist
After my idea is approved, I started collecting my assets for the AR app first. I will list down my assets below:
• Image Target (2): front and back side of the album

Starting from here to the end, everything is my own assets that I build in Illustrator. The artist's logo is traced objects which color I changed, while the 3D objects are my own creation using the same typeface as the official one. For the 3D objects, I made the 3D effect first in Illustrator then I moved the .obj file to Blender to produce a better 3D object.
• Artist logo: will appear upon scanning the back side of the album
• 3D Object: interactivity that will appear upon playing the song

My AR app's assets collection can be found in this Google Drive folder below.

After done collecting the assets, I then proceed to the prototype. There are 9 scenes in total but 6 of them are just the same since it is a scene for the music player.

After finishing the whole project, I exported them into my phone. Since I use Mac and iPhone, so it is easier for me to export it using Xcode.

FEEDBACK
REFLECTIONS
This project was so exhausting. It's my first time working on Unity so I have to adapt myself first with the software. However, it seems like the adaptation took much longer time than I expect. Even until the end of this project, I was still struggling with some settings that we need to do in the inspector. I was nearly crying every time I faced the problem with the music player. It was the worse I swear. I didn't expect it to be this complicated, I thought it was only a music player so it won't take much time to finish, but I guess I was wrong. Honestly, ChatGPT was quite helpful to me when I did this project. However, it could only give us code, while we also need to do some settings in the inspector. Almost every time I got errors, it is not from the scripts but the settings in the inspector. I was so frustrated till I shed a tear once while working on this project. But thank God, I'm glad that I can finish this project on time and that everything works well in the end OMG I'm so proud of myself. I still can't believe that I can complete this module.
